  1. Niv, I like your shots taken in Zoo Garten.

Sometimes, I feel reluctant about taking photos in a metro-station, because there are reports on the internet about how sometimes metro-security can take a dim view about unauthorized photos being taken, blah blah blah … :-)

Hope to see you guys again soon!

  2. Hey Henry – I was never bothered by security personnel (and for sure not in Berlin). And, if I were, no big deal, just put the camera away and leave the scene with a deep sigh and some mumbling about the decline of western civilization.

  6. A nice tableau of humanity waiting. Why not crop the top section to center the people? I particularly like the group in the center, they would make a nice image on their own.

  7. Thanks! Yeah, I could imagine a tighter crop, leaving out most of the ceiling and the platform. I think it does add some context, though, which is why I did not crop.

  8. very beautiful! It’s a great photograph and I like it alot. But I can not explain why. It has something special about it that makes it very appealing. Perhaps it is the color toning, the perspective, the girl in the middle of the frame looking in your direction? Great picture!

  12. I thought that you may be interested in a monthly fun posting that I started in July called “5 on the fifth” where you take 5 random photographs on the fifth of the month and post them somewhere on the net and then post a comment on MY blog with your name, location and link to the site containing your photos and I update my blog entry so the world has your link.

    Interested?
